Four screens means fewer showtimes, so check the programme first, but reviewers return to the same points: welcoming staff, affordable tickets and a cosy, well-kept feel. It runs relaxed screenings for children who do better in a calmer room, and there is free parking at the Furzehill Road council car park a short walk away.

Vue Cinema Thurrock in West Thurrock gets mixed reports. Reviewers describe comfortable seats and a customer service team that handles rebookings and refunds efficiently, but also cleanliness problems, heavily marked-up food and drink, and high sound levels in at least one screen, worth knowing for children with sensory sensitivities. One review describes a toilet supervision incident, so parents of young children may want to accompany them to the bathroom.
