Age matters more than postcode. Oxygen Romford in Harold Hill is calibrated for under-10s and reviewers say teens find little to do there. AirHop Adventure & Trampoline Park Enfield runs a separate under-6 slot and has free parking, which helps if you arrive with a pram. Airjump Trampoline Park in Orpington and Air Thrill London (Catford Island) Inflatable, Combat Zone & Party Arena both suit parties for ages six and up, but read the small print: at Airjump parents with under-5s must buy a jump ticket, at Air Thrill you cannot spectate inside the play area without one, and Airjump is reported as cold in winter.

Three entries are not play venues at all. ((BOUNCE)) South Harrow and ((BOUNCE)) Stoke Newington are instructor-led fitness classes where children join the same session as parents, and iFLY London Indoor Skydiving at The O2 is a wind tunnel whose instructors are praised for settling nervous children.

Grip sock rules vary too: Airjump and AirHop only accept their own branded pairs, so budget for a new set.
