“Philips Park is a hidden gem in Prestwich! 🌳 It’s the perfect mix of peaceful woodland walks, open green spaces, and well-kept paths. Whether you’re out for a jog, walking the dog, or just looking for a quiet escape, the park has something for everyone. The scenery is beautiful all year round – from the fresh greenery in spring to the autumn colours 🍂. There are plenty of benches to relax on, and the trails make it easy to explore different parts of the park. It feels safe, clean, and family-friendly too. A brilliant spot to unwind and connect with nature without having to leave the city!”

“Only really skirted the park while travelling to Ringley Woods via Drinkwater on The Kingfisher Trail.. Which is worthwhile. There looks to be plenty of places to explore, with lots of birds and other wildlife. The 13 Arch Viaduct is also close.It looked clean and well maintained in parts, and wild in others; which I like. I'll try and spend more time when I'm next in the area.”

“Great place to have a stroll lovely park with a play area for the kids, nice to walk around, the old buildings where nice just a shame to see how the weather and decay as taken over. Well worth the visit.”
