People's Museum Somers Town

“This gem of a must visit spot is just about a 5min walk from St. Pancras station and about a 10min walk from Euston station. It is at the heart of Somers Town and tells its story without pretense. So many useful, interesting information to discover and the place is packed with a lot of love and passion from its volunteers and staff. I had a good cup of coffee (for only £3!) at the sitting area just outside and had a lovely chat with the owner.”

I had personally not been to this area but there are some surprisingly unique architectural gems hidden away and great local independent cafes and pubs nearby too. It may be small but it makes up for it in scope and depth, with brilliant introductions to the collection and exhibition from Diana and Jaimie, and a superb walking tour from Esther.
