“I walked all the way from Thorneycroft Wood and Dragon's teeth to here, it was very muddy so I would recommend boots for the journey. I went on those wooden planks in the Riverside. I went back in reverse after exploring the lakes. It is lovely to see the lake sparkle at night.”

“A lovely place for a walk, great for bikers, buggies peaks and wheelchair friendly tracks criss cross this charming nature reserve. Devoid of litter and bristling with a wide variety of wetland birds. There is a real diversity of habitats in and around the old gravel pits.A spacious car park and play area for the families. It really is a well placed area to connect with nature.”
