What makes this place stand out is spending time talking to the team. It’s great having the physical items to look at but talking to the team who spend time keeping this place running and have used some of it in their careers is priceless. Keep up the good work.”

Bury Transport Museum occupies the restored Castlecroft Goods Warehouse, displaying vintage cars, trucks, double-decker buses, a horse-drawn tram (formerly a chip shop), steam train Hilda the steam roller, and bicycles spanning multiple eras. Period costumes are available to try on. Knowledgeable volunteer staff who have personally worked with many of the vehicles share firsthand stories.
