“What a fabulous building, great architecture inside and out. Has some beautiful door detailing and splendid windows. Free to visit, donations welcome. Shop. Lift to floors. Well looked after with varied collections on display, something for everyone. Welcoming, helpful chap at reception.”

“I have lived in Bury all my life, and the museum in the town centre is a credit to the town and the community. It's very well maintained and has some truly stunning art & exhibitions. Nice cafe as well, with a good selection of drinks & cakes. Lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon.”

“Didn't know this existed until visiting Fusilier museum opposite. Big shop, modern exhibition, school days exhibit. Family history/archives? Big spaces, sculptures and paintings. Cafe closed when we were there.”
