“West Norwood Cinema and Library, community rooms,are one of the most positive and interesting places to visit in West Norwood. Really does feel like a hub of our community. I and some friends have been rather disappointed with the cafe/ restaurant of late. Would much prefer a Café that would sell Sandwich/ toasties,healthy salads,just simple baked potatoes with fillings. If it could have the ambience of a place to eat in the evenings with a little more choice,a place to meet friends before or after seeing a film. It's not working so well for a place to share time over a small bite in the afternoons or a place to share time and a meal with friends in the evening, I do hope this could be changed in the near future. As I love this picturehouse. Thankyou”

“The library and a Hall (1969) repurposed in 2018 as a 4 screen Cinema, the library and a community hub with a cafeteria and bar Contemporary, spacious footprint incorporating original fabric including floor tiling, notable sloped roof profile and courtyard with a statue. Comfortable, functional and atmospheric. Trivia : a scene from Stanley Kubrick’s seminal and disruptive “ A Clockwork Orange” The “Ludovico Technique” presentation/Minister’s press conference was filmed at the site of screen 1 - the former Nettleford Hall. “ … I haven’t infringed any institutional infractions, have I, ? “ ..... Alex Clockwork Orange.”

“Ritzy is my Picturehouse to go but decided to visit this branch. It's much more spacious, with variety of spaces to spend some time when waiting for a movie, or just chill. Community hub, bar, extra space, it’s just very welcoming venue overall. They still got people checking tickets, when it barely happens at Ritzy. Clean and tidy screening room, a bit old-school but in a good way. Proper leg room, ventilation and no smell inside. Building outside is worth checking out too.”
