“What a gorgeous spot!! It might be the prettiest garden in London even. Filled to the brim with tons of different plants and flowers, lots of little ponds with lilly pads and fish. You could spend hours here, strolling about and admiring the beauty - or sat in one of the benches with a coffee thermos and a good book. Either way, you must pay a visit here. There is also an incredible market the third Saturday of every month from February to November - I was so impressed with the quality and variety of the vendors. Not to mention, this beautiful garden is surrounded by an expansive and stunning Streatham Common which is bursting with beauty. Plus, it's got one of the coolest children's playgrounds, a paddling pool, a lovely hilltop to watch the sunset - you won't be disappointed if you plan to spend a whole day in this area.”

“This is a lovely little area worth visiting if you're nearby. It's obvious that a lot of effort has been made to develop, tender and maintain the plants, gardens and ponds. The kids will love being able to run around safely and you'll enjoy the gardens, especially during the summer months.”

“Just had the loveliest day at The Rookery Garden in Streatham! Went with my mate who's terrified of dogs and this place was perfect for her. First off, there's a really nice cafe right before you go into the garden itself. We grabbed some food and drinks there - they do lovely sandwiches and cakes, proper good quality stuff. Great way to fuel up before exploring! The garden is honestly beautiful. So many gorgeous plants and flowers everywhere, really well looked after. What's brilliant is that dogs aren't allowed in certain areas, which meant my friend could actually relax and enjoy herself without constantly worrying. She was so much more at ease than usual - it made such a difference. We wandered around for ages just taking it all in. The flowers were stunning and there's loads of variety. Really peaceful atmosphere too, felt like we were miles away from London. Nice paths to walk on and plenty of spots to sit and chat. Would definitely recommend this place, especially if you're with someone who's not keen on dogs or if you just want somewhere quiet and pretty to spend a few hours. It's become one of our new favorite spots! Will definitely be back.”
