“A fantastic place to visit! The ruins are beautiful — they could easily be used as movie sets. One of them is accessible, while another is deliberately left unrestored to provide a habitat for wildlife like bats, which is just great! There’s no entrance fee, and parking is available too. A wonderful spot for a walk and some history — highly recommended!”

“Stunning historic castle which was super interesting and fun to explore. They offer a stand with historic information about the castle which was educational. The walks around the park are brilliant for families and dogs and the scenery is fascinating and tranquil.”

“Fantastic day out on a cloudy/rainy November day! Excellent facilities for our baby (large and clean changing room, and plenty of high-chairs in one of the cafes). We spent a couple of hours walking to explore the two Castles. Will definitely be back!”
