“A popular park, deservedly so. Well kept with very varied areas. We love the woodland walk, the bird song was beautiful. The pond area is lovely, we sat there having a take away coffee, listening and watching the water birds. So much to enjoy. Two childrens'areas, very popular. Lots of seasonal flowers, starting with carpets of snow drops, followed by crocus, daffodils etc. Our only regret is that what used to be called 'The T.V. garden" is not open to the public.”

“I love this beautiful park, with it's elegant Victorian tea rooms, equally historic mulberry bush and beautiful selection of trees. You can even buy organic veg which is grown here. I've spent many a summer's day here, regenerating, usually near the tennis courts and the bowling green...”

“I can sit for many hours in this park on a nice day, very relaxing and beautiful with all the different plants, trees flowers lovely pond with benches with the wildlife around,”
