Acacia Adventure Playground

“This is a really nice playground, and seems to have some supervision programs operating. We weren't expecting that, so I don't know the details. Main reason I wanted to comment is that it was too advanced for our four year olds. The staff even said that everything is built for five and ups. Nothing seemed unsafe, but many components were very challenging for our boys. We'll come back when they're at least 6, I think.”

“I go every week now to a group that meets during school hours (not the after school provision) with two of my kids and they just love it. It’s not a big space, but big enough they can explore and feel free while never too far from help if needed. An in-ground trampoline; huge climbing frame built by someone who understands fun and that line between safety and exploration; outdoor ping-pong table; large sand pit with kitchen; fire pit; one hoop basketball court; smaller climbing frame; round net swing and little hills to run up. It’s a lot. And then there’s the inside space, with a kitchen, tables, pool, two toilets (maybe 3?) and a good amount of space. Like most adventure playgrounds, it does need some TLC but that’s something you’ll notice more than the kids. But perhaps donate some money or pool cues if it bothers you? Getting there is a little cut through down the side of the primary or a long curved road and pavement with yellow bars around the entrance. About 6-8 cars can park and there’s space to turn around.”
